"Teaching people about the world in which we live."

Botanical Gardens Project

Instructions:

The object of this project is to design and develop a representation of a botanical garden of your own.  You will need to decide what you want in your gardens.   What themes you want to follow.  How you want your garden laid out.   Finally you will put your designs on posterboard and explain them to the class.

First, form an idea of what type of plants you want to have in your gardens.  Be prepared to defend why you want them.

Second, draw a sketch of placement of the different flora in your garden.  This is where you will need to draw the basic shape of the garden and describe some of the plants in those locations.

Third, neatly transfer your sketch to posterboard.  Be creative in your use of colors.

Fourth, develop a key to describe what is in your gardens.
