Volcano Questions and Answers?

This optional grading rubric is provided for your convenience. You may use either the one that came with the original activity or this one.

Instructions:

I have set this up as a percentage based rubric so that you can use whatever total points you want. I usually include a rubric with the project assignment sheets that my students get so that they know how they are being graded. If you want to use it and let the students see it then you might want to hand out a copy of it to the students or put it on an overhead.

20%: Questions
Are there three questions that are not answered in the provided reading material?
20%: Answers
Is there an answer for each of the 3 questions? Are they accurate?
20%: Originality
Are the questions original? Does they show imagination? Are they well thought out?
20%: Participation and Neatness
Was it in their best handwriting and without extra lines or smudges?
20%: Grammar
Was the grammar correct? Did each paragraph have at least four sentences?
